The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce will host their 9th Annual Perry Cruise Night on Saturday night, August 15th. The annual event will be held at the Bill Trower Memorial Park on Main Street. Those showing cars, trucks and motorcycles are encouraged to have their vehicles in place at the park between 3:45 pm and 4:45 pm. Parking will be available on grass. Vehicles will be on display from 5 pm till 7 pm. There are no entry fees, classes or awards. Food and drinks will be available on grounds. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, drawings and music. Over 130 vehicles displayed the last two years. A cruise will take place at 7 pm to Ray Behren’s Campground at Mark Twain Lake. Home for the Holidays Set for November 22nd
With the holiday season just around the corner, the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce will host “Home for the Holidays” in historic downtown
Perry on Saturday, November 22nd. Several events are scheduled throughout the day, including a bake sale, face painting, kids crafts, a parade featuring Santa Claus and lighting of the Perry Christmas tree. Downtown shops will be open from 10 am to 8 pm and will feature “Moon-Light” specials and soup sampling from 5 pm to 8 pm.
