Fireworks Set for June 30th at Mark Twain Lake

Mark Twain Lake, May 22, 2018 – The 4th of July is right around the corner, and there is no better way to spend your Independence Day holiday weekend than watching a firework display with friends and family at your favorite getaway, the Mark Twain Lake.  The Mark Twain Lake Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce their partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for a fireworks event.

On Saturday, June 30, 2018 Mark Twain Lake goers are in for a fun treat!  A fireworks show will take place at Clarence Cannon Dam at approximately 9:45 p.m.  The show, produced by Fazz Holding, LLC. is expected to last an action-packed 20 to 25 minutes.  Spectators can anticipate great booms and bright colors to be seen and heard from miles around the Mark Twain Lake area.

Audiences are welcome to park vehicles in the M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitors Center parking lot, at the Warren G. See Spillway Recreation Areas, or in any U.S. Army Corps of Engineers nearby lots.  Please be aware Clarence Cannon Dam on Highway J will be blocked off for the duration of the fireworks display and you will not be able to travel through.

Visitors are encouraged to explore some of the area attractions and businesses prior to the fireworks display. Be sure to stop in and visit M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitors Center as it will be open to the public for extended hours during this event.
